When I got Molly, she was about 7 months old. She had not received any shots and wasn’t spayed, so the day after I brought her home, Molly took a trip to the vet.

Luckily, my vet was able to fit everything in that day, and I brought her home the next day.

He incision was closed with surgical glue, so there wasn’t anything I needed to worry about except for excessive licking around the wound.

The wound only took about 2 weeks to heal, and unlike, spaying a dog, which leaves a scar that varies from a half inch to an inch and a half long, Molly’s surgery healed with a small round belly button.
